OUR SPEAKERS

KAITLYN ANDERSON
Kaitlyn Anderson is a social worker, minister, and passionate advocate for those navigating trauma. With a dual Master's degree in Divinity and Social Work, her work focuses on helping individuals find authentic meaning and healing in the wake of trauma. Kaitlyn is deeply committed to helping others through life's most difficult seasons, holding space for both the pain and the hope that can arise from them. She believes that hope is real, even when it doesn't come in easy answers, and loves walking alongside others as they discover it.
Outside of her work, Kaitlyn enjoys being outside, reading a good book, and spending time with friends.

YVETTE AREVALO
Yvette and her husband, Robert, are Senior Pastors of Grace Tabernacle Church in San Antonio. Married for 23 years, they have two daughters.
A pastor's daughter, Yvette gave her life to Jesus at six. Passionate about ministering to women, she returned to school after 30 years and is now a junior at Nelson University, studying Church Leadership.

KIMBERLY RINCONES
Kimberly is a 25-year-old Lubbock native living in Tyler, TX. You can usually find her at a local coffee shop writing papers for school (Go Patriots!), attempting to hit her reading goal, but most likely, yapping with friends.
She works for a nonprofit mobilizing college students to bring the gospel to
kids in elementary after school programs. She aims to help young people know God in a genuine way, and cheer them on to follow him a little more each day

ALFA ORELLANA
Alfa Belén Orellana is a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and servant leader. A BUA alumna, she currently serves as the university's Registrar. After starting in culinary arts and music, she pursued biblical studies and found a passion for ministry and education.
With a Master of Arts in Practical Theology, she looks forward to teaching and equipping the next generation.

YAMILETH GUZMAN
Yamileth Guzmán is a recent graduate of Baptist University of the Américas with a degree in Business Administration. She currently works at the university in financial assistance and serves as a part-time missionary for River Ministry.
Passionate about sharing Christ, she is active in her local church and mentors young girls.

LIZ FERREYRO
Liz came to the United States from Mexico in 2018 to study human behavior at BUA and is now completing her master's in professional counseling at Wayland Baptist University. She committed her life to the Lord at 14 and is passionate about serving others through counseling. In 2022, she met her husband at church, and they married in May 2024.
